Landscaping is my love! 

 

I have 15 years of experience transforming yards into beautiful, drought tolerant landscapes. I specialize in converting lawn to a water conserving, low maintenance, space that is more in balance with our ecosystem and environment. The plants that I select are California natives and drought tolertant species. My experience includes; flagstone paths and patios, lawn removal(by hand, sod cutter, lasagna method), irrigation systems, eco friendly pest control, and plant selection for unique spaces. .

 

A bit more about my background...

I came to UC Davis in 1993 from Southern California, and earned a Bacherlors Degree in Botany and a Masters in Eco-Agriculture (ask me more about this). I have my own environmental consulting business which I am able to do in addition to landscaping. I have worked for the state, private companies, and several non-profits. Landscaping is where my passion lies!

 

Drought Tolerant Landscapes is able to complete each step in the process from design to installation of your new yard. If we do not have the expertise to do a certain task we will contract with our respected partners.

 

Our initial consultation is free. During this time we discuss what your vision for your yard is (it is okay if you are unsure, I can help you with this). We discuss budget and use of the space. When I think I have a clear idea of your vision I will draft a sketch and give you an estimate of costs for my services. We have very competitive pricing and can work with those on a tight budget.
